QueriesTableAdapter does not appear in toolbox. Why not? : ADO DAO RDO RDS

This is a discussion on QueriesTableAdapter does not appear in toolbox. Why not? within the ADO DAO RDO RDS forums in Framework and Interface Programming category; I created a stored procedure called AddOrder which does an 'insert' statement. It appeared in the Server Explorer of Visual Studio. Then I dragged it to the Dataset Designer. This makes a QueriesTableAdapter, which I do find in the diagram when I "Edit Dataset in Designer". The problem is that this QueriesTableAdapter does not appear in the ToolBox, so I cannot drag it on to forms. Is there any reason why it doesn't show up in the toolbox? Is there some way to drag it to the form? Thanks, HA...

Default QueriesTableAdapter does not appear in toolbox. Why not?

I created a stored procedure called AddOrder which does an 'insert'
statement. It appeared in the Server Explorer of Visual Studio. Then
I dragged it to the Dataset Designer. This makes a
QueriesTableAdapter, which I do find in the diagram when I "Edit
Dataset in Designer". The problem is that this QueriesTableAdapter
does not appear in the ToolBox, so I cannot drag it on to forms.
Is there any reason why it doesn't show up in the toolbox? Is there
some way to drag it to the form?
Thanks,
HA

Default Re: QueriesTableAdapter does not appear in toolbox. Why not?

drag a dataset to the form, choose your strong typed dataset as the type.
