Hi Iím using Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.0 and after one hour searching the help file / the program / the web I couldnít find how to change the size of the text I want to insert in the document Ö also is there a possibility to slightly rotate either the text-box or the document page ?

    Thx,

Are you using an annotation for your text? Or the text touchup tool? How are you inserting the text?

Rotation is only at the 90degree increments. Any other type of authoring should be done outside of Acrobat.

    Hi Leo,
thx for your reply. I was using the text box (the one that has a yellow background by default).

    Leo,

I have the same question. I am using Acrobat 7.0 Pro and when I insert a Text Box, I can't change the text attributes (bolt, font, etc). When I right click and choose Properties, there are only options to change the border and fill color, not the text?

In Acrobat 6 and later, right click on the toolbar and choose the "Property Bar" (ctrl-E from teh keyboard). That will give you the styling for the text all you need.

    Hi Leo,
thx again. When I turn on the property bar, no font size tool appears there ... on "more ..." I only get the usual property box.

You have to select some text .

    Leo,

Thank you. If that was documented, it was well hidden. That is a huge help. Thanks again and have a great holiday!

whow ! That was the tip I needed since ages. I always knew that at some point I was able to modify font-size etc. ... but never found it back. Unfortunately there is no help file in the Acrobat Pro 6 Version ... only predefined "How To" articles.

    Thx Leo ... big help,

    Frank

This question crops up around once a week (and that's just folk who find their way here): is it any more intuitive in ver 8?
