The title bar text displaying in Adobe Acrobat 8.0 windows is not legible. Characters will usually consist of question marks, numbers, Asian font characters, or symbols. Different sets of characters will display if documents are opened, but none are in English nor do they resemble the document title.

This has been happening since I initially installed the program, and also happens with Adobe Reader. This does not happen with any other application, including MS Office programs, IE Explorer, etc.

I use Windows XP on an HP Pavilion zd8000 PC.

Does anyone have ideas about how to fix this so that the correct font/characters are displayed in the title bar? Any helpful ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
