Acrobat 8.0 Pro on Vista - Adobe Acrobat

This is a discussion on Acrobat 8.0 Pro on Vista - Adobe Acrobat ; I just installed Acrobat 8Pro on Vista. Install went okay. I cannot create a PDF document. Acrobat 8.0 Pro on Vista

  1. Default Acrobat 8.0 Pro on Vista

    I just installed Acrobat 8Pro on Vista. Install went okay. I cannot create a
    PDF document. Word or any other application says that Acrobat is not
    activate. But it is.

    Any ideas?

    Acrobat does not support Vista (or Office 2007) yet.

    Thanks for your reply. I just reinstalled a second clean copy of Vista and
    all works well. The Office 2007 add-ins do not, as you stated.

    Go figure. I wish I knew what I did to fix it.

    I have Pub 2007 installed on my system so if I need a .pdf of a file, I can
    either open it in Pub 2003 or I use PrimoPDF within Pub 2007. I can wait
    until they come out with a patch.
