Adobe Acrobat 8.1 was running fine until around the time I installed Setpoint software. (The conflict with Acrobat wasn't the only issue I had with the setpoint software, either.) In my opinion, the setpoint software is really poorly written. Trouble is, it appears that when you uninstall it, it doesn't completely restore the system to the previous condition. I'll bet a lot more people have this problem....
