Permanently change properties on stamp funtion

This is a discussion on Permanently change properties on stamp funtion within the Adobe Acrobat forums in Adobe Tools category; I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard version 8.1.0 Once I have stamped a document when I mouse over it my name appears. I would like to change this from my name to either my initials or my company name. I have been able to change it on a stamp by stamp basis by right clicking on the stamp, selecting properties and changing the author name. I would like it to default to a different name, not have to change it every time. I have searched all of the other forums and document menus with no luck. Any help would be ...
