This is a discussion on Acrobat Professional 7 - Strange Issue within the Adobe Acrobat forums in Adobe Tools category; I have continuously run into this problem and I am currently trying to figure out how to fix it as it keeps occurring (this program has been reinstalled many times and many others have tried to fix this, but it still keeps happening with the occassional PDF document). Unhappy Acrobat Professional 7 - Strange Issue

I have continuously run into this problem and I am currently trying to figure out how to fix it as it keeps occurring (this program has been reinstalled many times and many others have tried to fix this, but it still keeps happening with the occassional PDF document).

It's hard to explain, and I wish I could provide you with an image but unfortunately the documents I work with are highly confidential and I can't provide an example. I'll try to explain this as best as I can.

Basically what happens is the document almost corrupts itself when I try to resave it (as images) or print, or sometimes even scroll too fast. What happens is the image displays strangely. The font automatically changes into something that looks like blotted ink all over the page. The L's turn into weird blotchy lines and dots appear everywhere. I will create my own PDF and see if I can recreate the issue, but I might not be able to. I hope this explains it well enough.

Anyone know what could be causing this? A setting perhaps? I'm not exactly a know it all when it comes to this kind of stuff but I do have some troubleshooting background and work for a help desk, but if someone can provide me with some guidance, I can definitely follow instructions.
