Moving footage, how can I let the Compositionknow I moved the project files? : Adobe After Effects
This is a discussion on Moving footage, how can I let the Compositionknow I moved the project files? within the Adobe After Effects forums in Adobe Tools category; I have my CS3 .aep file in directory /FOO I have my source file of the footage (a image.psd file) in the same directory as FOO (/image.psd). I just realized I want the original footage (.psd) file to be in the FOO directory. If I move it there then AEP doesn't know where it is and my project is kaka. HOW can I move the .psd file and let my AE Composition know where it is now so it DOESN'T break the links? I want image.psd in /FOO/image.psd I hope that makes sense...thanks yall! -b...

| When the project opens and is "kaka", right click on one of the missing items in the project window and choose Replace Footage File. Direct it to the new location. AE should then locate any other missing items located in the new folder as well. |
