This is a discussion on Re: Matching colors on my monitor to print colors within the Adobe Color Management forums in Adobe Tools category; I don't get it either, Peter. "Soft-proofing" is a widely-accepted term closely related to filmless, direct-to-plate workflows. You may call "proofing to screen" slightly imprecise perhaps, but I fail to understand the harsh criticism....
