| Yes, I have used both v2 and v4 ICC profiles. Just be aware that not all software and hardware work with v4 profiles at the present time. For this reason, I usually build v2 profiles. Lou |

| The reason that not all software works with ICC V4 profiles is that they are new, and the software was not updated. In many cases people still run software written before ICC V4 was invented. There may not be much incentive for products to be updated until there is customer demand. Also, some may rely on other products, such as CMMs, that are not updated. Aandi Inston |

| I don't think you can assume everyone in the design and print world will be able to use V4 profiles. Many people run really very old software, especially RIPs. Aandi Inston |
