Default From Adobe RGB 1998 to sRGB

First let me explain what I doing and why. I take photographs in the RAW
mode (I wear clothing. It's the image file I'm talking about. :-) I
process the image in PhotoShop where I use Adobe RGB. I discovered that
if I make and save a JPG file, the Adobe RGB color space is now part of
the image. I find that when I upload these files to "Flickr" on the
Internet my colors look washed out when I bring them back down from
Flickr. I also discovered that when I upload the same JPG image as it's
produced by my camera, I do do not have this problem. It looks to me
like the Internet/Flickr like to work with sRGB not Adobe RGB 1998.

I notice that if I left mouse on File from PS, I'm given the option to
edit in image ready or I can "Save for the Web".

My question is how can convert the color space from Adobe RGB 1998 to
sRGB? I ask this because I think this is what I need to do to preserve
my colors. I could be way wrong on this?! Please tell me the steps
needed to make the conversion to sRGB or if I'm bark up a wrong tree
tell me so.

Thank you,

Dave

I just found a place in PS where I can assign or change the working
color space. I'm OK now.
