Can I use a Tab as a Cross-Ref Building Block?

    Hi

I'm creating a TOC in a chapter of a book rather than creating a regular TOC chapter (this is a special chapter that we publish separate from the book on occasion).

I'm using a the Heading/Page Num blocks to create the entries. So they end up looking something like...

    Entry A...17
    Entry B...27
    Entry C...37
    Entry D...47

What I'm trying to do is use a tabbed leader building block to move the page numbers to the right.

    Can I do this? Help?

    Thanks
    Jodie

Yup, just insert a \t for the tab stop in the cross-ref format and make sure the paragraph tag you're using to control the format has a corresponding tab stop and leadering set.

Another way to do it is to generate a chapter TOC and then import that into the parent file.
