No bookmarks being generated
I cannot generate bookmarks for Acrobat from FrameMaker (or Word). I have checked all of my settings for bookmark generation. File size (number of headings) has no bearing, and I am not using any unusual fonts. If anyone has any idea of where I might find information, I sure would appreciate knowing. I am using Acrobat Professional 6.0.6.1 and FrameMaker 7.2p158. Thanks.

Re: No bookmarks being generated
Did it ever work? If so, what changed?
And... If you're printing from Frame to an Adobe logical printer to distill, in the Frame Print dialog box, do you have "Generate Acrobat Data" turned on? And in the same area, the PDF Setup dialog box includes the right tags?

Re: No bookmarks being generated
Yes, it did work previously. I cannot pinpoint the date it changed, but the only things that have changed on my system have been updating Acrobat 6.0.0 to 6.0.1 and the usual Windows and Java updates. Yes, I made sure that everything that was supposed to be turned on, was turned on. I've been using this tool for quite some time and have looked at every potential cause I can think of. I also looked for this problem online and found only one mention of someone experiencing the same issue, but they offered no solution. I had a coworker open one of my PDFs on his laptop (Acrobat 6.0.1) and on his desktop (Acrobat 6.0.0). The bookmarks appear on the latter, but not the former.

Re: No bookmarks being generated
Check you ACROBAT settings.
Do you see the BOOKMARK tab on the left?

Re: No bookmarks being generated
Deb,
If, in your test case, someone can see the bookmarks, that seems to point to an Acrobat or Reader problem in viewing them, rather than a FM and/or Distiller problem in creating them.
Can you look at the .pdf(s) in some other environments?
