| Hi, FrameMaker 8 does not support bidirectional languages. You will find more information in the archive of the FrameUsers mailing list: <http://www.mail-archive.com/search?q=arabic&l=framers%40lists.frameusers.com> Trados does support FrameMaker 8 MIF files. However, I encountered some bugs when I got the translated files back from the translation agency: variables and numbering were changed, spaces in text in tables were deleted, text in table rows was not translated. Meanwhile some of these should be fixed. Best regards Winfried |

| Thanks Winfried, yes I have found the fixes I need to work with FM8 mifs and I'll keep in mind what you have mentioned above. Thomas no to BiDi but obviously there have been updates/fixes to the above |
