This is a discussion on Captivate movie in FrameMaker within the Adobe Framemaker forums in Adobe Tools category; I'm looking for information/instructions on how to integrate a Captivate version 3 movie into FrameMaker version 8. If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate your help....

Mike,
Thanks for your reply. I tried out putting the Captivate movie in FrameMaker before converting to PDF, and also tried your suggestion to put the movie in the PDF manually. I'm in agreement with you that your suggestion works better.

The captivate movie is a flash movie. You can embed the movie into a
Frame file, it will SOMETIMES be active in the pdf file created by
Distiller. I find it more reliable to put it into the pdf file manually.

Jay,

I found out the hard way. :-( Unfortunate, since it would be a real time
saver when updating documents not to have to re-insert the flash files.
