Is there a way to import a pdf file of numerious pages without having to import one page at a time. this can be problematic when u have 300 pages to enter into a FM file. My ideal situation would be to give a page range and click import for the requested page range to be entered into the FM file. any ideas ??

    Mike,

PDFs are considered to be and are treated as graphic objects in FM.
There is no facility to import more than one graphic at a time.

Why do you need to import the 300 pages into FM when you can assemble
the items in Acrobat using Portfolios much easier?

Without knowing what you're trying to import... (Actually, telling us what you're trying to achieve would probably get you more and better ideas...)

Another method would be to use Acrobat to break the PDF apart into multiple single pages, with sequential file names. Then use a FrameScript to go through the directory of files and import each one to a discrete page.

But again, it's hard to know if this is the way to go without knowing what you're trying to do.
