Importing Illustrator files into PowerPoint

  1. Default Importing Illustrator files into PowerPoint

I am trying to import a Illustrator file into PowerPoint. I tried .ai, .eps, .png, .emf, and .wmf. The only one that looks crisp is .wmf, however I have a globe that has a gradient as well as some objects that have transparency set to 35%. When importing into PP the globe has a white box around it = BAD. If I get rid of the gradation and TX the file works fine. I cannot do that, so I need a work around. THE IMAGE MUST BE TRANSPARENT WHEN IMPORTED INTO PP as it will be on top of a background (client is doing).

I've tried everything... any help would be encouraging.

Use PNG 24 with anti-aliasing and transparency. It looks like crap in editing view, but looks fine in the slideshow.

    Scott,

Unfortunately that doesn't look good either. I get a black dotted line around the graphic.
    Thanks anyway.

Can you post a screen shot? I use PNG all the time and the Illustrator graphics look better than artwork created in PowerPoint (OK, that's not really hard).
