Saving layers as files.

This is a discussion on Saving layers as files. within the Adobe illustrator forums in Adobe Tools category; I'm using illustrator for animation. Each layer is a different piece of animation. I have to save each layer separately, which is obviously quite time consuming. Is there a fast way to save all my layers as individual files?...

Use the import feature in Flash to bring in your AI File layers
directly to flash. You can create Movieclips directly at the import
and organize your files properly. It might take a little bit of
getting use to but once you get the hang of it, it moves very quickly.
