    How do I reset to default preferences? I can not use command + T anymore to resize objects, and in fact can not resize objects at all. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

    Command-T never resizes anything. I think perhaps you're thinking of Photoshop on that one.

    Try turning on the Bounding Box. Chances are you simply hit the key command to turn it off. View > Show Bounding Box.

    If you still want to reset the preferences, hold down Command-Option-Shift while you launch Illustrator.
