Can't Save/Save As - Dialogue Box Dissapears Hi guys
Have been using CS3 DP since its release and today for the first time I had an actual problem.
When I click on Save / Save As in either Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign the dialogue box opens up for a split second and then dissapears. Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign becomes inactive after this.
I have completely uninstalled CS3 and reinstalled it. The problem still persists.
I have lost a whole day's work because of this.
Can anyone help?

Re: Can't Save/Save As - Dialogue Box Dissapears Are you working with multiple monitors? This sounds like the dialog may have been moved offscreen. If the answer is yes, search this forum for "multiple monitors" or "dual monitors" and you should find all the possible remedies that have worked for other users.

Re: Can't Save/Save As - Dialogue Box Dissapears I occasionally have the same problem; also on dual monitors, but the weird thing is the Save or Open dialog disappears behind the active Indesign! Forcing all windows to minimize (Windows+M keys) usually brings it back to its proper position.
One time it happened with a Yes/No prompt from a script. InDesign kept on working (miraculously), but at a snail's pace. Finally, I shut it down in frustration, just to see the prompt appear...
Re: Can't Save/Save As - Dialogue Box Dissapears I am having a similar problem with CS2 versions of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I am using two monitors, XP professional. Right now the "Open" command of InDesign isn't working, but I've also in the past week had Photoshop's Save and Save As do the same thing - the dialog box is nowhere to be seen. In order to get a job done I had to run home and bring in my MacBook Pro.
Minimizing doesn't help.. I'm going to search the forum for dual monitors and see if I see anything that applies.
This is basically rendering my Adobe apps useless. Right in the middle of a deadline, too...

The first reply references opening Photoshop and adjusting the Open dialog box, exiting Photoshop and then restarting InDesign. When I started Photoshop and then opened the Open dialog box, it spanned both monitors and was also moved to the right so that it only appeared on one monitor. When I resized it, quit Photoshop and then restarted InDesign, my InDesign Open dialog box worked.

It just disappears and is not behind anything. Windows +m doen't work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
