Hi,
HOW do I simply Add .indd 5 pages to an existing .indd page and have them show up.
Help said, File> Place but I only get something on my clipboard.
When I click it just seems to paste the content on top the page.
Is it possible to just Import the pages and have them all pop up in the main document in 5 separate pages?

No.
You need to select the 5 pages in the Pages panel in the second document and then drag them into the main document window.

Or even easier is to select move pages from the panel menu and select the other document as the target (sorry I can't remember who posted that helpful bit of advice originally, but it sure is nice.)

Yeah, that was my reaction, too, when I first saw it posted. I think it might have been added in CS3, and who looks at those "what's new" lists, anyway.
Tough being an old-timer.
