Vertical text orientation

This is a discussion on Vertical text orientation within the Adobe Indesign forums in Adobe Tools category; Hi I am creating a vertical text frame with this code: layoutHelper.CreateTextFrame(parentUIDRef, rect, numberOfColumns, isVerticalFrame); where isVerticalFrame is true. All works fine, but the text in my text frame is placed from top to bottom instead of from bottom to top and I do not know what to do for making the frame with the correct text direction. Does someone have any suggestion? thanks for help dgr...

Default Vertical text orientation

Hi
I am creating a vertical text frame with this code:

layoutHelper.CreateTextFrame(parentUIDRef, rect, numberOfColumns, isVerticalFrame);

where isVerticalFrame is true.

All works fine, but the text in my text frame is placed from top to bottom instead of from bottom to top and I do not know what to do for making the frame with the correct text direction.
Does someone have any suggestion?
