Is there a way to convert PageMaker documents to Microsoft Word?
(Keeping the same formatting if possible).

    Thanks.

IIRC, you can export the stories as RTF but that's about it.

How do I do this? When I go to File/Export
I only get the following options..
    PDF
    HTML

Graphics & Text is grayed out..
Is there a way where I can convert to PDF & then Word?
If this were to go to a printer..they would have to print from a PDF file right? Rather than a Word doc?

    Thanks.

Do I have a better bet in converting a PDF to Word? (Also keeping the same formatting) with some conversion program?

If Word could do the same kind of formatting as PageMaker, there would
have been no need to invent PageMaker. One is for page layout, the
other is a word processor. Word doesn't even have fixed page layout:
if you change printer, the page breaks will move.

Best to copy/paste the text, then reconstruct what you can of the
    layout.

I'm guessing here, but I assume someone wants the files in Word so that they can be circulated and people can make changes to them. If this is the case, I think you're better off circulating PDFs and getting them to comment on the PDFs or, if this is likely to be a common occurrence, looking at upgrading to an InDesign and InCopy workflow.

Use the Text Tool to select the text you wish to export, and the text option will become active.

But I go with Dominic - create a PDF and circulate that.
