I am writing a book using PM65. I am making folder for each chapter that contains the publication file and a file for its linked graphics. How big can each publication file be? I have been trying to hold it down to about 3 MB. Can I go larger? Do I have to go smaller? What happens if the file gets too large? Thanks. Carole

As far as I remember, the smaller the better. Large PM files (of more that very few MB) are invitations for disaster. Also, unless I'm wrong, doing a Save As reduces the file size.

There's some advice about file size here: * Donald Gruener, "9.3 - Files Seem Too Large" #1, 1 Jul 2002 8:39 am </webx?14@@.ef96bfb/0> Iechyd da! John 22:21 01/07/2008 BST

Thanks to both Claudio and John for the helpful advice. John, you will be pleased to know that I have been listening, and reading, and am doing all that Donald Gruener suggests. So I guess I am OK. Could not have done this without all the helpful advice in this forum. No way! Thanks. Carole
