When I try to clone human skin to another portion of the body the cloned portion looks "fake". Is there a particular clone brush that works best when trying to duplicate the skin?

    Ronnie,

Suggest that you post what version of Elements you have and some info on how large an area of skin you are cloning.

If you have Elements 3, the Spot Healing Brush is a possibility. Others can give you a more detailed discussion of pros and cons of different methods.

The healing brush (either normal or spot, for small blemishes) can work well. I still tend to use the clone tool a lot for some things. If you are cloning to reduce the effect of lines. wrinkles and bags under the eyes, then I usually do it on a new layer and then play with the opacity of the layer until I get a natural result that blends in and doesn't look too plastic.
