Promoting tags and sub-tags to higher levels

I recently imported LOTS of files into PSE3 from PSA2 and most of the associated tags were placed into the "Imported Tags" category. Is there a way I can "promote" these imported tags one level to the category of "People" or "Hidden"?

I believe you can just drag&drop them or hit the "Edit Tag" button and change the "parent" in the drop down list.

Yes, you can just drag. The slightly confusing thing is you need to drag them onto the new "parent" and they will be added to the bottom [if you are using manual sort - see prefs]. You can then drag them where you want. There is also the capability to convert tags to subcategories and vice versa [right-click on it].

BTW, don't mess with Hidden unless you know what you're doing. It is special and provides a half-way house to deleting images.

BTW2, you can create your own top-level categories if you want.
