The pictures were scanned mainly from 35mm transparencies. The original scans produced good 10x8 prints but I compressed the TIFFs into JPEGs for the web. In the meantime I have a better scanner, I could rescan and also could probably get away with bigger files in these days of more bandwidth.

I liked the smith in his doorway!
