Sounds like you are going to have to call Adobe Customer Support.

Download a file called CS3 Clean (think Adobe have it somewhere on here) and run it. It will clean all CS3 software from your machine including the serial. Once it has finished reinstall the software and choose the Trial Option. This should sort out your problem. I'm known in town as the creep that's into zombies

Yazan, Following Dead Boy's suggest to choose the Trial Option, assuming all else works, will only buy you the 30-day trial period before still having to activate, so you're not really gaining anything. Depending upon where you bought Photoshop CS3 at, you may be encountering the same problem another user here did: Although buying from a supposedly credible eBay retailer what appeared to be a legitimate, shrink-wrapped copy of Photoshop CS3, including the manual, CD, and serial number, the end result was the user learned from Adobe that the serial number was invalid. So, that suggests the eBay seller wasn't selling a legitimate product unless the serial number just simply was bad for unknown reasons. For a problem of the nature you've identified here, your only solution really is to contact Adobe for help. Telephone support for activation and installation issues is free. Assuming you have not registered the software yet, since you've not successfully installed and activated it, you may need to be prepared to provide Adobe with proof of purchase in which case I assume they'd tell you what they need and how to submit it to them. Regards, Daryl

Michael i need the soloution here please The only reason I can imagine for someone to ignore the free support Adobe offers for installation/activation is that they are using a pirated copy and do not want to let Adobe know.

I suspect as such...Any legitimate user of a $600 piece of software will call customer support and jump through the necessary hoops to get their investment to work properly.

I was thinking the same thing. Yazan, After paying for all our software we don't take too kindly to pirates. If you are not a pirate call customer service. |
