    Can tab stops be customized in Photoshop CS3 as in Illustrator with the tab palette?

    No such luck Mike. I was even surprised to see that at least the text tool does allow tabs to be used, but I don't believe there is any place in the interface that supports tab settings, particularly not in Illustrator fashion. Basically, PS is just a powerful graphics editor with limited text functionality.
