Yes, you need to wait at least TWO days to get used to something new.
Some people even take two and a half days.

You can always point your newsreader to adobeforums.com and browse that
way -- it's much easier.
Rob.
Wow thanks so much.
Not only had i never thought this was possible, I didn't even realize there
was all these forums that could be read in my outlook express newsreader.
I set up a new account using adobeforums.com as you suggested and viola
there they all are.
amazing!
Thanks so much for the tip.

I dont mind the new design so much. The fact that the forum has some temporal challanges is a bit concerning.
Mike,
The name of the lounge for newsreaders is adobe.premiere.editing.lounge
Does that work for you?
Im an IT director in my day job. I know I'd be fired if I managed a system upgrade like this one. If this new forum was tested in advance by running an import on a development server, 95% of the problems would be worked out in advance without exposing them to the public. The fact that they are still indexing docs (after 4 days)indicates they grossly miscalculated the server requirements, or have general config/procedure problems.
I know its "just a forum", but this is bad practice by Adobe to expose such problems to the public. And they have done it at the worst time, while doing major releases. The way this upgrade has been managed puts a bad face on Adobe. Shame on them. I love Adobe products, but this is embarrising.

Ironic typos - gotta love 'em!

I agree with Curt. Anyone with some brains wouldn't have done it just after AE 6 and Encore were released, regardless of how much testing they claim to have done.
