Makes sense, I don't know how to do it, but I would also love to know
how to do it.

I want to be able to select a specific clip in my time line and save it
to a folder without cutting all other clips from that timeline. I'm
using AP version 6. Can I do this? I want to do this rather than stop
and go my camcorder to death while capturing video. I video wildlife
and on an hours tape I may have 7 different critters. I want to
seperate them on the computer rather than as I capture. I hope this
makes sense.

I got it. Duh!! I don't know how I missed this before but simply
select that clip and go to file click on export clip and save it to a
folder. Somehow I looked and didn't see that option until last night.
Boy do I feel dumb. Anyway It's good to find you guys as I'm a newbie
to editing and will probably need help.
Well, don't worry about it, I have been doing this for about 2 and a
half years now. I just never really thought that I would need it, and
it never really caused me a problems so I didn't worry about it.
Anyway, if you ever have any questions about video editing or anything
feel free to e-mail me: kentdoddsproductions@gmail.com or you can go to
my group: http://groups.google.com/group/kentdoddsproductions. Anyway,
thanks for answering your own question, I'm sure I'll need it sometime.
