I made a movie using Premier Pro. It has two video tracks and two audio tracks. I rendered the work area and exported the movie to a DVD. It worked fine, but then I went back and made some final edits. Now I can't get the audio from track 1 or 2 to play in the timeline window. The waveform is there, but no sound. If I double click the audio in Track 2 and place it in the Monitor window, I can hear it just fine. The audio tracks are enabled and I can see the volume in the Audio Mixer window. Any suggestions>

This has happened to me several times both with Premiere 6 and Premiere Pro. I never figured out the cause, but doing a reboot of my PC always corrected the problem. I'd just close down the whole system and when I restarted, things worked again.

You are asking in the wrong forum
Roemel,
I got the answer from Eddie Lotter. In ppro wikicities, it answers the very question " Why is there no audio in the timeline?". The answer is
Unplug your camcorder or change your playback preferences in Project > Project Settings > General > Playback Settings
Wikicities is found at <http://ppro.wikicities.com/wiki/main_page>
just want to note because i see this coming "thanks mike seems i have to find help elsewhere" ;-)
john t. smith directed the original poster to the premiere pro forum. this is the 6.5 forum. i personally do not have premiere pro so how can i answer about ppro when it's an entirely different application. i wouldn't even want to fathom a guess, but i will point this out what's that right before wikicities???oh it says ppro
:-D
