Adobe Premiere 6.0 Export - Long Delays - 16 hours .. : Adobe Premiere
This is a discussion on Adobe Premiere 6.0 Export - Long Delays - 16 hours .. within the Adobe Premiere forums in Adobe Tools category; I am using Adobe Premiere 6.0 to edit a 54 minute long video. I have 10 minute long clip after editing. When I export the timeline as Movie in AVI format, it shows it taken 19 hours to export. What I am doing wrong? I would appreciate any help from this group to this learner's question. I have included computer specifications and settings below: =========================================== Hardware Specs: DELL Precision 340, 2.4Ghz, 1GB RAM, 50 GB harddisk space, NVIDIA Quadro Ex (128MB) Video Settings: COmpressor: Microsoft DV (NTSC) Frame Size: 720x480 Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1/DV NTSC Frame Rate: 29.97 Depth Millions, ...

| 16 hours to encode a 10 minute video clip is excessive. One possibility is that an unrelated process on your peecee is gobbling up CPU time.
