Thanks so much for attempting to tackle my scrolling problem. I have tried your changes but am sad to say that it makes no difference. The scrolling still works fine in Firefox but jumps to the right and scrolls down uncontrollably in IE6 as soon as you click the top scroll arrow.

I have now adopted a different page design so it's no longer urgent but I sure would like to know why it does this.
