access glyph by script : Adobe Typography

This is a discussion on access glyph by script within the Adobe Typography forums in Adobe Tools category; Hi all ... i have font file that contains glyphs that have unicode values and other that have not. with indesign i can insert any one of them using glyph plate. and I can insert the glyphs that have unicode using script, but can I insert those how have not unicode values by using there glyph id in any kind of scripting?? thanks...
