Some help where could I find.....

This is a discussion on Some help where could I find..... within the ASM x86 ASM 370 forums in Programming Languages category; Where could I get ms-link I've refined my Google searches as much as I can but found no download link. I see pages where the name appears I'm starting to think it doesn't exist or ms-link might be it's outdated title. ~ thanks any info would be much appreciated. I'm trying to get this software to use HAL....

Default Some help where could I find.....

Where could I get ms-link I've refined my Google searches as much as I
can but found no download link. I see pages where the name appears I'm
starting to think it doesn't exist or ms-link might be it's outdated
title.
~ thanks any info would be much appreciated. I'm trying to get this
software to use HAL.

I believe you meant HLA.

http://www.masm32.com/ had MASM/ML and LINK.

Search for "lnk563.exe" for a 16-bit linker. I think it's the last
16-bit link from MS.

Probably the filename is "link.exe" and "ms-link" is just a descriptive
name (lots of programs named "link" - "ms-link" comes in 16- and 32-bit
versions... 64-bit too, I suppose - make sure to get the one you want!).

There "must" be someplace to download it "freestanding", but your best
bet might be the whole MASM32 package:
