| hi i am anil i had a probelm please can u help me please let me know that ,is this posiible by u to my gmail id Develop a Shell script i) to list only the name of the entries present in each subdirectory mentioned in the path. ii) to count and report the number of entries present in each sub- directory. iii) to sort the entries of the subdirectory based on extension and store the output in a file "out.txt". iv) to compare the entries of two directories dr1 and dr2 and to list the files with the same size. |

This is comp.lang.AWK so your question is OT, try posting to comp.unix.shell. Ed. |
