I would like to know if there is an easy way to disable the auto-update of the delivery date which happens when the quantity is updated for a order line.

I work in purchasing so I'm talking about purchase orders here, I'm not sure how this works for sales orders.

If I make a purchase order with a purchase line to be delivered at a specific date, and then later need to increase/decrease the quantity, then Axapta might also change the delivery date. If the defined delivery time for this part number is greater than the time from today till the delivery date, Axapta will update the delivery date so it matches with the defined delivery time.

In some cases this makes sense but not so often in my case and I would like to be able to turn this off. Is that possible and how?

I'm using Dynamics AX 09.

I would appreciate your help or comments on this.
