OK..I'm new to this and I have poked around and have picked up snippets of
code but nothing seems to work right. I have a delimited txt file that I
need to import and put in an array so I can extract data as required. The
file is in a work directory.
Its all not clear but I assume the FORM in VB is a placeholder for Objects
which get loaded when the Form is loaded. The Objects on the Form act as I/O
to the user. Some objects will cause Events which run Procedures.
A Procedure must be run in a Sub otherwise one is "outside the procedure"
and an error will be generated. When you write the Procedure things have to
be declared in that procedure and that is what makes it Private versus
something declared Public which means any Procedure could grab it.
Yes/No????
What little I have learned is when the code is commented and the comment
actually tells you what's going on. Strings of code to the beginner are just
that....strings of stuff.
Frustrated and on a timetable at work.
Thanks for any inputs.
