Write a new record to 2 tablesThis is a discussion on Write a new record to 2 tables within the Clarion forums in Programming Languages category; I have an app that has a table set up with an alias, The table is Customer, Alias is Vendor. The lookups for dropdowns etc, are very slow to respond 2-3 seconds with 600 records. Works very well if I copy the Customer to a Vendor table and modify the app. Is there a way, and where to put the code, that when i save a new record it would duplicate it in a second table. The Customer input Browse and update are CW5.5 generated, with cosmetic changes only I understand the tables should remain Identical. John... | ||||||||
