[2813] "Yellow led"

  1. Default [2813] "Yellow led"

    Robert,
i compile anything with warnings (i.e. yellow led on). After closing
the Errorbrowser _all_ yellow leds in the RepoExplorer are gone, until
    i close and reopen...

BTW, it seems i can't get rid of the "Maxwindow=1" in prj - whenever i
open the project all is maximised again, regardless of setting
    "Maxwindow=0"

    Karl

    Hi Karl,

did the postman already rang your bell with VO2.8 in his bag?

    Cheers,
    Harry B.

    Oh darn!

Another oops... Karl has posted into the wrong newsgroup - a heinous
crime that causes almost instant dismissal from the VOPS <g>.

However, look closely folks. It means there are still significant bugs
in the 2.8 repo and is probably why we still haven't got it.

Thanks for the heads up Karl. Brian doesn't seem to have the courage to
    communicate with his constituents.

    Geoff

Because Karl posted in the wrong newsgroup you have deduced
"It means there are still significant bugs in the 2.8 repo and is probably
why we still haven't got it"

Interesting deduction. Next time I am debugging I will add checking the
newsgroup for erroneous posts to my check list.

So do you have some other explanation?

In fact I think my assessment is reasonable. I certainly wouldn't
approve the release of an IDE with such significant glitches in it. It
wouldn't be worth the hate mail <g>

    Al,

It wouldn't matter what Karl posted or where.

The fact is there must be significant problems, because the product missed
    it's ship date.

But I suppose you'll make up some excuse for that one too.

It's just the same old story with Grafx. Some things never change,
especially in the area of communication to their few remaining customers.

    Graham

I think he selected the wrong newsgroup before he posted, perhaps it was a
rush of blood to the head that distracted him momentarily?

That is so nice for you Al, but who do you think you are kidding with such a
    pathetic response?

If you think you are are trying to help Grafx out - then I guess you should
    go back to PR school.

Your condesending, smart arse attitude, does indeed demonstrate just how
much regard you have for your less fortunate fellow VO developer.

    Good luck to you mate.....
