  1. Default VO 2.8 upgrade

    Hi,

I'm still working with VO 2.7b and would appreciate
    your comments about 2.8.

    Should I upgrade allready ?

And if I upgrade, do I realy need to do the following steps :

    Install VO 2.0
Install VO 2.5 (bought this as an upgrade)
Install VO 2.6 (bought this as an upgrade)
Install VO 2.7 (bought this as an upgrade)
    and then install VO 2.8

    Bart.

    Bart,

I am running 2.8 in production. I find it to be very stable. If you
have 2.7 on your machine, you shouldnt have to go back and install any
    prior versions.

    Regards,

    Willie

    VO2.8 better IDE
But even if I have had little error (resolved) in compilation, my main
application, very stable in vo2.7b, crash
They did many changes and it may be necessary to revisit your code.
I do not have time, so i putted vo 2.8 aside

    Bart,

You only need the CAVO 27 EXE on your machine in order to be able to
    install the 2.8 upgrade.

    Bart,
I can only encourage you to use 2.8
It's really the best VO we ever had.
And AFAIK you can install it side by side with 2.7, so you will be able to use your old system, in case you shoul encounter any problems.
    Greetings
    Thomas
