I used a dos version of BRIEF forever until I needed something windows based but being the tight ass I am looked for something free as in beer. Someone in this forum turned me on the JEDIT, and after getting over the differences I have been happy with the JAVA based editor. I have used it on Windows based and Linux based systems. bob. |

It will even do COBOL syntax highlighting ![]() > but being the tight ass I am looked for something > free as in beer. Zeus is not free but, but you can try it out for free. It runs fully functional for 45 days. Jussi Jumppanen Author: Zeus for Windows IDE |
