| norton has been pulling this crap for years. i tagged norton with a 'do not buy' label at least 7 years ago, maybe longer. i don't believe that any of those issues you reported are 'accidental'. you must be holding your tounge different than i do for 7 years ago the last time i was able to reach a live, talking, human was when giving the credit card info. after that transaction... no contact. no tech support. no help. no return. no refund. sss i have witnesses and documentation, so... We cannot take your assessment of software quality seriously because they're posted with a substandard newsreader. The topic here is programming, not consumerism. To vent consumer frustration, go to alt.dumb.americans or alt.wal-mart.shoppers. Those are write-only forums, no one reads them or cares. |
