When posting to comp.lang.cobol please include a rate, or range of rates,
associated with the position(s) offered; doing otherwise leads many to
conclude that you are either trolling for resumes or running a blind ad to
determine rates.

La empresa para la que trabajo necesita un programador en COBOL que
viva en la ciudad de Cali, Colombia, que tenga experiencia en COBOL, y
si se puede en MicroFocus Net Express, trabajo con (GS's, y CBL's).

El salario es $1'500.000 pesos colombianos mensual, y el contrato es a
término indefinido.

Is that 1500.00 USD or COP? Because if it is really COP, it is only
about 79 US cents at todays' exchange rates and if it is USD, that
works out to only $9.37 an hour. Maybe that's a lot in Columbia but
here in the US I could do better at McDonalds cooking fries.

It states 15 million pesos per month, for an indefinite period, Steve.

Unless you live in Cali, Colombia, there is little point in applying... :-)

How'd you get 15 million out of that? I've worked in Asia and Europe
and am kind of used to the comma, decimal difference but I didn't read
it that way and in fact we see the OP has disputed that
interpretation.
