Commerce server 2002 Adminstrastion database

This is a discussion on Commerce server 2002 Adminstrastion database within the Commerce server forums in Microsoft Tools category; Hi, We have installed commerce server 2002 and its database server on two seperate machines. Out of which database server got crashed. All product catalog data as well as administration database has been lost. Do I need to re-install commerce server 2002 again? Is there some way to create administration database? Take an exisiting administration database backup from another server and use that for this CS instance?
