Extending System

This is a discussion on Extending System within the Commerce server forums in Microsoft Tools category; Hi, My requirement is to developed e-commerce web site for marketing purpose I have certain question which is lsited below: 1)Can i Extend the Marketing System as per our Business requirement? 2)How the profile System is integrated with Marketing System? 3) Can i extend the database of Profile System which also manage the Campaigns and other information based on our requiement instead of using Marketing System? 4)Does Atomic operations are supported by Commerce Server APIs, Like its rollback the entire data if due to certain reason system fails to enter data in database.
