| Hello, I had the following error after installing MSCS 2007 SP2: 1- When running MS-Visual Studio the following error pops up: "package load failure --- Package Commerce Server has failed to load properly". Another question: Is it possible to have the SSL certificate used by MSCS 2007 stripped on the firewall level instead of leaving this procedure to the commerce server ?? I know this can be done on a regular website with SSL, but I haven't found any indications that this can be done with MSCS 2007 especially since the certificate need to be configured on the MSCS |

| Hi, I just started playing with Commerce SErver and I'm getting this message on my box as well. This is a clean box with nothing other than: Server 2003, SQL 2005 Studio 2005 & 2008 and CS 2007 with SP2 installed. The StarterSite (version 2) works great. The box has been patched up via Windows Update too.... Any ideas? When I looked in the registry key for the InprocServer32 value, it just had "CommercePkg.dll" in it without a qualifying path. I modified that key to point to the file (in my case, "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Commerce Server 2007\CommercePkg.dll") and after restarting Visual Studio, it seemed to work. |
