This has probably been covered before, so I apologize for the repetition.
But I have finally figured out all the privileges and permissions needed to
allow ASP.NET to use a network account to open an access database on a shared
folder. It's not pretty, but it works.
However, the performance is terrible. Does anyone have any suggestions for
improving performance for this kind of setup? (And I don't have the option
of putting it on a SQLServer. Thanks anyway.)
The web server and the file server are both Win2K. I am using IIS 5 and
..NET 1.1.4322.
Thanks.
