This is a discussion on Warning... - DOTNET ; I'd just like to warn users of this list, that there
are apparently hackers and non-commercial spammers
monitoring this list. Since using my email address here,
I've been recieving hundreds of unsolicited emails,
apparently from microsoft, though I can't be ...

I'd just like to warn users of this list, that there
are apparently hackers and non-commercial spammers
monitoring this list. Since using my email address here,
I've been recieving hundreds of unsolicited emails,
apparently from microsoft, though I can't be sure that
it's not a prank from a hacker, as well as "delivery
failure" messages for hundreds of messages I didn't send.
This from both leaving my primary email address here, and
mentioning my secondary in the message body. This seems
to be a conjunktion of problems with MS's Mail server
and/or security, and spammers just looking for a prank.
(As non of these messages were commercially oriented.)

You should never post your email address to a ng. This is the outcome.
There are bots out there that continuously monitor ng posts for email
addresses.
